I am creating this petition because I want to stop the bureaucratic loopholes that plague our taxation system. By creating a flat 25% income tax then we eliminate the "People who earn $250,000 and pay taxes on only $25,000" The measure would be designed in while setting a flat tax rate it would also eliminate excessive deductions.

if you dumped the foreign aid, support of foreigners and illegals in our country, outsourcing, free trade, etc. you could do it. The s.korean economy is better than ours. their little kids all have laptops, mp3 players, cell phones (and no they aren't cheaper here). their income tax is 4% to 10#\% for the rich. their roads are better and they have great and cheap public transportation and large green areas for mountain climbing. one of the reasons is that they aren't trying to support the world, one is that we gave them our jobs (general motors, etc., etc.), our technology, our base and tax dollars and they undercut us, and one is that they organized development. sprawling little houses has made public transportation impossible in most areas and wasted water tables, energy costs, wildlands and farmlands (making us dependant on foreign food that is often dangerous). stockhom is a sustainable city that recycles everything, even human feces make gas for cooking and cars. if we don't save the planet the taxes won't matter but we need microeconomies, not global greed, and to restore wildlands and farmlands and stop selling the american dream of miles of tacky little houses that only enriched the oil companies, the car companies and the banks.

Establish a flat income tax in the form of a SALES TAX so tax on every dollar of every legal and illegal industry is captured as well as tax from illegal aliens in our country !!! Who needs the IRS and the billions of pages of tax code which allows the rich with high paid accountiants and tax lawyers to get by with less taxes while the poor and middle class pay the tab? The current tax system is insanity, unfair, and totally wasteful of government funds !!! A straight income tax in the form of a SALES TAX will generate more income for governmental use as well as tax everyone equally. We desperately need LEADERSHIP and REAL CHANGE in poolitics and goverment NOW !!!
