My gorgeous young nephew has been living with SLE for about 3 years now. He is 19 years old. It is gut wrenching to see such a beautiful young man fighting with this illness as if going 12 rounds in a boxing match, bruised, tired and sore. I thought I would never hear the word Chemo in my family again. My nephew and the many young lives on this petition sight effected by this disease should live free and healthy not tied up in a cell of pain and counting pills. I believe if both the worlds and great minds of medicine and naturopaths (yes I do have faith in nature..isnt that where the wolf lives?) join forces they WILL find a cure, many, many lives are counting on it.

my best friend that i have know for 22 yrs is suffering severly with this and i saw her yesterday since shes been back in the hospital and its attacking almost every aspect of her body. and nothing absolutely nothing seems to be helping her. although they say shes doing a little better she gets to come out of the medical surgical ICU.
