Help for the animals in the shelter in Budva (Montenegro)

Opstina Budva, opstina grada koji je centar turizma Crne Gore, izgradila je skloniste za napustene zivotinje, ali zbog 'nemanja para' nije ga zavrsila, skloniste je bez struje i vode, bez hrane, bez veterinarskih usluga, bez zaposlenih. Stanje pasa u ovom sklonistu je blizu tragedije, jer drustvo za zastitu zivotinja '4 sape' Budva ne moze, i pored nadcovjecnog truda, da postigne obim posla koji zakonski i moralno treba da pokrije opstina. Sada trazimo pomoc od svih ljubitelja zivotinja, od svih onih koji cene zivot, trazimo da opština Budva prihvati svoju zakonsku obavezu i zavrsi skloniste, zaposli radnike i odvoji deo budzeta za nezbrinute pse i macke koji lutaju ulicama Budve, zimi umiru od gladi i hladnoce jer nema turista koji ih obicno slobodno hrane i pomazu. Zivotinje rodjene pod srecnijom zvezdom drustvo 4 sape zbrine i da na usvajanje, ali oni manje srecni obicno zavrse kao scena horor filmova, baceni na smece, zaboravljeni. Praksa opstine Budva da puskama i otrovom resava pitanje pasa lutalica se pokazala kao neodgovarajuce resenje problema jer pasa i pored balkanskog nacina ima sve vise, i sada je doslo vrijeme da prihvate odgovornost što zakonsku, što moralnu da humano zbrinu pse, da brigom, sterilizacijom, udomljavanjem postignu ono što godinama nisu mogli, da sklone pse sa ulica, da pomognu Crnoj Gori da se pokaze kao zemlja koju vredi posetiti, i u koju vredi doci na odmor.
Community of Budva, community of a city which is a center for tourism in Crna Gora (Montenegro), has built a shelter for homeless animals, but because of not "having money" hasn't finished it. The shelter is without electricity and water, without veterinary care, and without workers. The condtition of these dogs in this shelter is tragic, because the organisation for the welfare of animals "4 paws" Budva isn't able, even with all the help they can get, to accomplish the amount of the work that the community needs to do and has the responsibility to do. Which the law for animal welfare here says! Now we are asking for help from all the animals lovers out there, from all that value life, we are asking for the community of Budva to accept the law and the responsibility with it and to finish the shelter, to find workers and to put aside a specific amount of money from the budget for the homeless dogs and cats that are in the sheter, and for those that are walking threw the streets of Budva, starving to death in winter because there are not tourists that usually give them food, or freezing to death on cold winter nights. The ones that are born under a luckier star the organisation 4 sape puts to adoption and finds them a home, but the less lucky ones usually end up like a scene in a horror movie, thrown in the trash cans, forgotten. The way of community Budva to solve the problem of homeless animals with guns and poison isn't a way at all! And even with that there are more and more animals, and now the time has come for them to take the responsibility, and to take care for the animals on a humane and moral way, with spay and neuter, with care, adoption, so that they can accomplish what they didin't all these years, to put the dogs and cats from the streets, and to help Crna Gora to show that it is a country that is worth visiting, as a tourist or oterwise.

This petition comes from people that live in Budva, from the people that come in Budva every year and from the people that plan to visit Budva, and we all are asking from you to accept the responsibility of humane way fo taking care for the homeless animals in your community, and that as soon as possible. Please, you got to understand that you need to take care for the dogs and cats there, because also the law says it so, and because it's humane, because it is really horrible to come to a city of tourism and fun, and to watch how a big black jeep crushes those poor animals, to hear the shoots from the guns and to see the animals suffer because of the pain from the poison. There is no need for that!%u201CThe greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated%u201DDog and cats have been there always for the people, they suffer in silence, and accept us no matter what. We know that you have built the shelter, but only the walls are not enough. Please, finish your responsibility and respect the law.
