destruction of the rainforest

Help stop rain forest destruction!

Target:
Brazilian Government
Sponsored by:
the Rain forest covers 2% of the worlds surface and holds a massive 50% of the worlds species, most of which are sadly endangered. The Brazilian Government employ the ranchers and loggers to destroy the forests for needed resources. They don't actually like interfering with it as it hold 70% of our oxygen, but need to for there people. Either way we can convince the government to balance out the problem and use it in a more sustainable way. If not then the rain forests may be gone forever.

We the undersigned understand that you deal with many problems concerning the rain forest. We know it is hard for you to make a correct balance between preserving the rainforest and using its needed resources, but we feel that more action should be taken out to make it more sustainable. This can be done by ranchers choosing there grazing land where less wildlife is situated or trying to make the land more fertile. Either way we would just like to let you know how strongly we feel about this issue and give support for whatever you choose to do in the future. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
yours sincerely,
Daisy Howarth

Well, if we don't stop we are all going to suffocate to death! That alone should be enough. I heard somewhere that we only have 4 years or so to turn globle warming around or it is irreversible. That's pretty scary.

I strongly believe that all destruction of the Rainforest cease. I have read facts that state the destruction of the Brazilian Rainforest has occured at a rate of one times the size of Belgium per year since 1996. This fact may have changed very slightly over the years but that it holds any truth at all makes it truer than ever that we must act now to put a complete stop to the deforestation of Rainforest and start planning and proceed with the details of restoring it.

Perhaps the Brazilian Government could find other ways to meed his peoples needs? Perhaps other Governments could be encouraged to help, as we ALL need to breath!

The rain forests are incredibly unique, precious and irreplaceable. They are worth far more living than dead.
