This extremely popular wedding venue alone is a highly valuable source of tourism dollars for both the park and the local economy, attracting many visitors who would have no other reason to visit Western Nevada County were the park to close.
Keep the Empire Mine Historic State Park open! Tne economic health of Nevada County will be negatively affected by its closure and the citizens of our community and California will lose a beautiful historic jewel!
