Mistreating dogs for the purpose of sale is unneccesary and is dishonest to the public who buy them. The public is led to believe thesedogs come from healthy lives on ranches and never see the grussom reality of the puppy mills that they truly come from, and unknowingly, without concent suport an operation and except a possibly damaged pet. Increase of desease and other problems generate from puppy milling and also are prooven to some times be the cause of behavioral problems. Studies have show (with participating facilities meaning there may be more) that 56% of dogs in shelter get euthanized and its speculated that puppy mills probably contribute to this statistic.
