Senators, Representatives, and Mr. President:

If you do not extend unemployment benefits past 99 weeks, you will be putting MILLIONS of formerly hard-working Americans out on to the street.

Did you just breeze over that phrase, or did it really sink in?: 

MILLIONS of formerly hard-working Americans will be out on the street. This is not hyperbole, THIS IS TRUE. And YOU will be responsible. 

And never mind how stopping benefits is completely unfair to laid-off workers since they have worked their whole lives for unemployment benefits, here's the bigger issue:

HOW WILL SENDING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OUT ONTO THE STREET MAKE THE ECONOMY BETTER?   Seriously. How will that help?

YOU need to extend benefits and pass a jobs bill that works. That is YOUR JOB. That is what we are paying you for.

If you can't do the job we're paying you for, we can fire you. Your choice.

Add a Tier 5 while you're working hard on a jobs bill that works.
