Polar Bears Given Lump of Coal For Christmas

The Polar Bear got nothing from Obama or Ken Salazar but a lump of coal for Christmas.  Obama announced that the Polar Bear will not be granted full protection of an endangered species.  Salazar continues with Bush's 2008 argument that the Polar Bear is no where near extinction. Salazar also defends the decision to exempt greenhouse gases from regulation under the Endangered Species Act.  Even though Polar Bears are starving to death because of global warming. Alaska launched another attack on the Polar Bear, Gov. Sean Parnell is threatening to sue the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for protecting a 120 million acres for the bear.  Is this pitiful or what?  Can I ask you, just how much to these people think they need.  Will they destroy every animal, without cause for satisfaction of raping the land?  These Polar Bears are starving people and we have got to stand up for them.  There is no time for wondering what will happen.  The evidence is plain.  The government will take what it wants, when it wants and it's up to "We the People."  Stand up for what is right and good, please.  They have no one else but us.  Thank you for your time.
We the people come to you, our President of the United States of America to let you know that we want full protection for the Polar Bear.  It is perfectly clear that commerce and big business is a priority but to the point of extinction for the bear.  No longer can we sit by and watch with out speaking up for our beautiful giants of the ice.  I say ice, but not meaning it literally, as global warming is taking it's toll on that too.  They can not live with out food no more than you or I Mr. President and it is time we take a step back and look to see if progress is truly good enough for us.  There does not seem to be enough progress.  With it comes the want and need for more and it is costing us all quite a lot.  The beauty of the earth, the animal's and before long, us.  How much is enough?  There will never be enough, greed has taken hold and we can see that.  Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country, if you do not mind me saying so.  You, I, we have to come to the aid of these Polar Bears and every living creature on the face of this earth before it is too late.  And we fear, that is just around the corner.  Give our Polar Bear's full protection under the Endangered Species Act.  Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Anita Murray Cook
