Prevent the opening of Britain's first dairy factory farm

  • by: Nicola H.

There are plans to create a dairy farm in Lincolnshire housing 8100 cows who will be milked, not twice as is normal, but thrice a day. Cows do like being milked, but there is a limit on what is healthy and research conducted in the US suggests that cows in factory farms die earlier and have a lower quality of life than those on more traditional farms.

We need to take action, not only by contacting David Cameron and the RSPCA, but also by consciously choosing milk and dairy products that come from farms that treat their animals with respect and dignity.
