I am a responsible ex-smoking adult who believes in human and civil rights without the governemt interfereing in my legal choices. I like my nicotine, the same way I enjoy my daily caffiene via tea or coffee. The new nicotine delivery system, called electronic - cigarettes, or e-cigs, is a product that uses no tobacco, but instead has a healthy pure nicotine delivery system by way of vaporizing pure nicotine other liquids and flavors. There is no smell, no burning, no carcinogens. It is many peoples belief that this system is much safer than cigarette smoking. There is no second hand smoke, in fact no smoke at all, no smell, no tar and nicotine stains, no burns, etc. This delivery system is called "vaping" due to the vapor that looks for a short while like smoke, but is not smoke. We all as children had Vicks Vapo Rub in mothers vaporizer. This is similar as this vapor is simply, as explained above simply condensed nicotine, water and flavor, and dissipates in seconds. It cannot be transferred to any other person, it cannot be smelled, it causes no inhalation of the vapor by others. As a responsible adult, I don't approve of children under 18 or even 21 smoking or buying nicotine devices of any kind. Nor do I believe pregnant women should have any form of nicotine. Other than these exceptions, I believe as US citizens, we have the right to choose to vaporize nicotine as a safer alternative to cigarettes which have thousands of carcinogenic chemicals, and we are now being taxed to death for our addiction to nicotine. Please, governement and Pharmaceuticals, and especially the EVIL tobacco industry - stay out of our right to enjoy this pleasure. Won't you smokers out there who believe as I do sign this petition to the above mentioned behemoths who would deprive us of our natural rights?
