we should all help save this rainforest. its been here for millionsof years and survived ice ages. it has more freshwater fish in it than the rest of the world joined together. the Amazon is a very important part of our world.

without it both humans and animals would perish.

If you destroy the forest,we will breathe less, and we will perish too...

The world will be doomed for disaster without the Amazon and its forest...

Stop deforestation to zero, because it's a practice in use only by undeveloped poor and very illegal ridden countries. Deforestation permitted by each country, where the lower is there the richer and better life quality and education you meet. It's not my opinion, it's just a statistical comparison. In my country we had reforestation. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/GDP_PPP_per_capita_2007_IMF.png and http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programme_for_International_Student_Assessment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita (exluding quatar that has oil rich trade that will eventually drop in the future)

Please help us to help the rainforest because 14% of the world use to be made of the rainforest and now its only 6%. There are cures and remedies within plants and animals in the rainforest that we haven't yet discovered. Please sign!!!

Without the rainforest we wouldn't have the cures we have today for many diseases. Also there would be lots of animals that would die out and we would be held responceable.

Eventually, our world is going to be completely destroyed by humans! We are causing to much disaster. Now is our chance to stop and actually think about what we are doing. If we keep destroying these precious forests, we will be killing thousands of people and animals, not to mention trees. It is our job to protect natures beauty.

SAVE PROTECT AMAZON RAINFOREST
# 64:
11:45 pm PDT, May 13, Kathy Panciera, Washington
Please do all you can to stop the destruction of the rain forest. It is vital that this rain forest, the indigenous peoples living in it and the birds, and other wildlife and plants be saved. The birds and other wildlife depend on the plants and trees for their habitat, it is the ancestral home of the native peoples and many of the trees and plants in the rain forest are used to make medicines for local and worldwide use to cure various diseases.

The loss of the rain forest would be devastating as it produced 20% of the world's air. Removing all the trees and plants will cause an extreme change in environment, temperature, etc. The native peoples will lose their ancestral habitat. And many medicininal plants will be forever lost, thereby eliminating any possibility of using them to find cures for various diseases.

The choice is obvious. End rampant soy and cattle farming that leads to slash and burn of rain forests. It's wasteful and hurts humanity's chances of survival. Not to mention it's damaging Brazil's economy.

A barren and heartless world.
