Fur farmers and trappers kill millions of animals%u2014including dogs and cats%u2014for their fur each year. About half of these animals die specifically for fur trim. The industry tries to keep the cruelty hidden, but suffering and death are central to fur.
On fur farms around the world, millions of raccoon dogs, rabbits, foxes, mink, chinchillas, and other animals spend their lives in wire cages only to die from inhumane neck-breaking or anal electrocution.
Please ban the Fur Import.

An Inuit needs animal fats and skins to survive the weather conditions of the region they live in and it is a tradition of their culture, a socialite out on the town in NY City however, does not need a polar bear wrapped around her.
