In his March 8 budget proposal, Gov. Tom Corbett announced his intention to cut the Commonwealth’s investment in all state-related universities – including Temple – by 50 percent.  As a member of the Temple community, signing the petition below will show your support for the university, and let your State Senator and State Representative know that you are opposed to Gov. Corbett’s plan.  This petition will be presented to members of the appropriations committees in conjunction with President Hart’s budget testimony on March 28, 2011.
