Greyhounds are often put in races. But, unfortunately, it is a legal, so called, "sport". Those are the unfortunate ones. The greyhounds' lives outside the races are very poorly taken care of. They are in a small cage 22 to 23 hours a day when not in the race, and which ever greyhounds that are no longer able to be in the race for any kind of reason, they are hung, shot, drowned, or dumped on the side of the road. SHOW THAT YOU CARE ABOUT THEM and the way they are treated, SIGN THIS PETITION.
"We the undersigned, understand that Greyhound racing is legal. And we, the U.S. citizens, argue that Greyhound racing should be illegal under all circumstances. It is cruel and unfair for any greyhound dog to go through. We urge you to please make it illegal in ALL states. Research Greyhound racing, and see how badly greyhounds are treated in the process, and you will see why we are urging you to make it illegal. I am speaking for the unspoken.
