Let me just start out by saying that this family is INNOCENT! As Americans Today we need A TIME FOR CHANGE and I personally urge everyone of you who read this to please sign our petition.
As a citizen of the United States of America I am TURELY ashamed that our government would allow such a thing to happen to innocent people.
A man was arrested for doing absolutely nothing wrong. The man was on his way to pick up his child and was stopped by 12 police for having a taillight out on his car and two sets of handcuffs were placed around his wrists. Within about 30 minutes 52 police "officers" came to the residence and vandalized their property. The Mother and three children were taken out of the house at gun point (the children's ages ranged from 9-16 YEARS old). These "officers of the law" took over 5,000 in cash, jewelry, antiques, ruined a perfectly fine home security system, playstation 3, 72 inch T.V., antique coins and other various but valuable items as evidence. This all happened in Madison Wisconsin when a women complained to police that the neighbors had threatened her children and gave them obscene gestures. Her house and cars were repeatedly VANDALIZED. Finally this family had a Security System installed. After Police refused to enforce the law against the neighbors (one of the neighbors was a son of a police officer and a close friend of one.) She filed a police misconduct/selective enforcement of the law complaint with the mayors office. The neighbors took the family to court to take the security system down. The judge said "NO, that the security system was perfectly legal" and allowed the security system to remain up. She then caught one neighbor Seriously vandalizing her house with explosives, she again complained. This time her husband was Arrested. Her and her children were removed at gun point Her house and belongings were greatly damaged in the warrant. As I said earlier because I cannot stress enough, the children's/mother's computers were seized as well as $5,000 in cash, Jewelry, a 72 in T.V., Playstation, Cable t.v. box, Antique coins, all billing to the family business and TAX RECORDS. In my mind and in the United States foundations EVERYONE is INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY! This is an injustice to our Founding Fathers and to everyone in America!
If you care about this family that has been harassed by Madison Police and their future safety, as well as your own, we hope that you will sign this petition and pass it along to whomever else has been harassed by police or may support this petition against police corruption and injustice.

As I was just skimming through this petition I found one thing very interesting. With any good thing said, almost immediately after it was posted, there was some sort of vindictive rebuttle. Some being posted with sentences instead of actual names. Like it's a *forum. I can also find common threads (words, phrases, and things said that only certain people would know) from these postings. Now let's *not jumped to a conclusion before we know the facts. Same advice goes for this trial.

Have any of you met this family? This guy and his kids are way too intelligent to do this and think they can get away with "harassment". There has to be more that we, the public, haven't been told.

i am a victim now of madison police department probaly nothin g will b done i am raising children on my own because of attacks and lies i am afraid to go any further because of lack of support they probaly will still get away with it because they will all stick to the same lie and probaly further victimize if punishment is attempted to be enforced, they have a history of police protecting police and will continue because they outnumber the minority
What the heck is up with #15, but when you mention the name, i had an apiphany. I saw that news cast and was like " Is what was said even legal?" like because of pre-sentence investigation thing or something like that, and then I figured it out. The "plaintiffs" only put it up there to mess with potential jury members. While I was watching it I thought from what I heard the "plaintiffs" say that they, the "plaintiffs", were paranoid/crazy/trouble makers/ vindictive/spiteful/have a lot of time on their hands and looking for any reason to bring this guy and his family down, example A: the cameras that he had someone install, in my opinion only to protect himself. Shame on you people, find something better to do and I'm willing to bet that every negative comment on here was them only trying to make this petition seem "bad" to the public. In that case take your own advice #115! Do something positive with your life, change your hobbies, as well as your friends, to wrecking people lives, to something productive in a good sense.

I have been following this case from the start,all the evidence will come out..If this guy was innocent he would not of started this petition,he is trying to find people that maybe don't know him,that will feel sorry for him..Let the evidence speak for its self...Quit trying to bash people and the police department..Maybe change Mr Lawler,volunteer at a church,a homeless shelter..better yourself and your family..Be kind to your neighbors and they will be kind to you..You will never find a peaceful place to live Mr Lawler unless you and your family change..Make sure your kids don't suffer from your and your wifes mistakes...Your kids may do good in school,but what about them living as adults...Look inside yourself and really think about the things you have done,quit blaming others,people see right through you...You will not find a jury of your peers that will find you innocent..

The police know that you set this page up which violates your pre-trial restrictions - the link into your East High classmates page probably wasn't the best idea. I know that you will take this post down within hours, so I just thought I would reach out and say hello - the simple fact that you set this site up (and have posted 90% of things on here yourself) while knowing your pre-trial restrictions says it all, tough guy. Youwould think that the witness who was number 103 would not have been so stupid as to voice that threat on this petition site. I maen how dumb can you be. Now everybody that copied these down has a record of his threat proving that all this was a setup. Man if I was the D.A. I would run from this case and try to save face. The D.A.'s office obviously found out about what the dumbass did because somebody went into the site and erased #103 .It had to be somebody with power to do this because only the owner of the site has the code to change things on the site.I'm sure that they didn't do that because they had the witnesses confessionand threat. You also find out how dumb the witnesses friends are by reading #106's threat and statement.You would think if the police and D.A.'s ofice had any sense they would lockup the witness and his friends up before they cause the city and the taxpayers an even worse situation and lawsuit. If this is any indication of whats to come in this case and how the integrity of the Madison Police Dept. and the D.A.'s office has come to against its citizens we need to give them a BIG wakeup call. i dont know a whole lot about the things that happened but from what my friends say i have to agreed with them when they say it was freaking hilarious when they did those things to you!
