We demand that the catholic universities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) immediately halt their experiments on monkeys. These animals are subjected to horrifying neurologic experiments, which cause tremendous suffering and agony. Scientific research is necessary, but in the 21st. century there is no more place for this kind of outdated 'science'. Research needs to be conducted in a humane and civilized manner, without the use of animals. This will lead to better results, and safer health-solutions for people.
