Stop the FDA from Disproving Avastin to treat metastatic breast cancer

FDA advisory panel voted 12-1 to pull Avastin to treat metastatic breast cancer.

This medication is NOT being pulled for safety reasons! Current clinical studies didn't show that it extended lives as long as the FDA thought it should.

Despite the study this drug is a miracle drug for some of metastatic breast cancer patients especially with a type of breast cancer called triple negative.

If nothing is done, the FDA will disapprove the drug, September 17, 2010, which means in most cases, insurance companies will not pay for this treatment and the cancer patient, would be 100% responsible for the cost

This would be a huge disservice and death sentence to people with metastatic breast cancer who are responding well to this meditation.  Every patient will have a different response to Avastin, but every patient should have the right to choose!

Let breast cancer patients have the choice of a medicine that may hold our cancer at bay and allow us hope that we will be around when a cure is found.

Show your support for me and the thousands of metastatic breast cancer survivors who want the same opportunities as others to LIVE and beat the statistics

Please sign this petition to let the FDA know you thing this drug should not be disapproved for metastatic breast cancer patients!
