Stop the Grizzly Bear Hunt in B.C.
Enough is enough. Stop killing these magnificent animals. Let's put our heads together and end this cruel slaughter now. This unnecessary, cruel and decadent hunt will be starting soon again. The quota decision is based on 'science'. The ecosystem has been damaged to the point these bears live on the brink. So few remain. This decision is not based on science, if it were, there would be no hunt. It is based on money for the greedy coffers of the government and the elite few who call themselves guides for the disgusting trophy hunters' need to kill.. Let's wake up and realize this has to stop before it is too late. These animals are at the top of the food chain, and used to inhabit most of North America. There are very few pockets of these animals left. Their habitats and food sources are destroyed.. What would the province be without these beautiful bears? There is more money to be made by ecotourism by saving and preserving these animals for the future for everybody on the planet.. These animals belong to all of us, not the greedy few that prosper and kill. And to make it worse, usually only the head or skin is taken. Let's speak up NOW and STOP THIS BLOODSPORT intended to satisy the thirst for blood for wealthy, violent, self- indulgent, short sighted, hunters who call it 'sport'. Thank you for your vote to end the grizzly bear hunt in British Columbia. Let's hope we can make a difference with our voices, not shotguns.
We, the undersigned want the B.C. and Canadian grizzly hunt to stop now.
These animals and their habitats are disappearing rapidly. This hunt cannot be sustained and should be stopped. These animals need to be protected NOW.
There are many people around the world who watch the hunt and the way we recklessly kill our other wildlife, and, FOR THIS REASON REFUSE TO VISIT CANADA.
Please listen to what the people want, and what is right for the rapidly declining populations of these bears, not what makes money. Please protect these bears for future generations and protect the delicate ecosystems which they so greatly contribute to.
These bears belong to ALL people to enjoy, not just the greedy ruthless few who benefit from killing them.
We will continue our fight to save these bears. It has to stop sooner or later, and the TIME IS NOW, NOT TOMORROW.
