Stop Kenyan President signing flawed Biosafety Bill

b) There is no allocation for redress should GMO products cause damage to the people or the environment
c) The people of Kenya were not consulted on the Bill thus it was not an all inclusive Bill but rather one pushed forward by the Minister of Agriculture
Should such a weak bill be passed, Kenya will be subject to uncontrolled GMO contamination.
The Kenya Biodiversity Coalition a coalition consisting of'Green' organisations representing millions of Kenyans will from Monday Dec 22nd be staging a week long protest resulting in what will be Kenyas biggest petition which will be presented to the President on Monday 28th Dec. Farmers will be staging mass demonstrations all over the country protesting the Bill. The first ever mobile sms petition will roll out during this week allowing millions of Kenyans from all over the country to take part .
