We, the tax paying people of Orkney object in the strongest terms about the total hand over of OUR transport system to one company, we feel we are not being given value for OUR council tax and also feel the lack of commitment shown by Stagecoach on the island last summer will ruin our tourism.

A quite disgraceful and deliberate corruption of the political procurement process of school and service buses. The purpose being to squeeze out any competition or choice. Quite apart form the abuse of a democratic process the damage to the Tourist Industry, which has been forming a growing part of Orkney's income, has already been considerable (take the non appearance of "Costa Magica" as just one example)
