Tell Nevada STOP Disturbing the Balance of Nature!

Having all but wiped out wild horses and sold them for slaughter to be used as food in other countries, now Nevada thinks it's a good idea to kill bears, mountain lions and coyotes.

They call this plan "Predator Damage Management" and intend to kill animals using aerial hazing with helicopters, traps and snares, denning, even M-44, a poision containing sodium cyanide. USDA reports indicate that in a five year period thousands of foxes and raccoons, even two bald eagles, have died as a result of M-44.

Hundreds of species- small animals and birds rely on scavanging what preditors leave behind. That is nature and how nature works to create a thriving ecosystem. Thats not an opinion, it is sound science as any biolgist will tell you. Life is a food chain and Nevada is about to radically interupt the very cycle of life- for a profit.

By reducing preditor populations, deer populations will increase. Which means more killing for special interest hunters. Horse populations will increase, which means more horse roundups and slaughter. 19 million acres will be set aside solely for cattle grazing which adventally winds up slaughtered in the beef industry.

We ask Nevada to reevaluate exactly what you are doing- for profit. You are killing every living animal in your path.
