Dr. Susan Niebur was a planetary scientist with her feet firmly on the ground. Writing as 'Whymommy' on her blog Toddler Planet, she inspired many with descriptions of her battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer and her commitment to be, as long as she could, a mom, a wife, and a friend.
Unfortunately, Susan succumbed to breast cancer on February 6, 2012.
