To change the world, we must lead, not follow

Target:
President Obama
Sponsored by:
It is time to take action.  Our abuse of our planet and other human rights are overwhelming.  We need a sustainable path of energy and independance.  The war we fight is impossible to win.  Why not work on a sustainable path? This will not only help our economy, but protect the environment as well as human and civil rights. The opiate trade and the oil barrens are not our priority. We need to adopt a sustainable ethical outlook. Our grab and run mentality will lead to our destruction.  The middle east laughs at our pathetic attempts to "fix" their lifestyle.  If we really want to make a difference we must lead, not follow. This means we adopt a sustainable path to independance. To send more troops into the mess is not going to help.  In fact it is going to bankrupt us beyond anything we see now.  Instead of following the dance of consume, trade, fight, just to consume, trade then fight again. We must lead our nation into the sustainable future.  The path we are on now consumes our resources at alarming rates.  Our nations mentality is beginning to turn from consumer to creator.  We need to create our own future, Mr. Obama. I challenge you to create policies or Executive Orders that are only in the benefit of sustainability and returning our troops home.  Because we both know that only when we settle both of those matters, the deficit will only grow.  The pharmiceutical companies, oil industry and any other large mass consumer based industries will use anything and anyone to get what they want.  Don't be their puppet.  Be the master.

So many people follow others, without even realizing the harm they are causing or what they are actually pledging their support to.
