Enact Aarika's Law and Protect Children from Sexual Abuse

When "Responsible Adults" become aware of child sexual abuse and they "Fail to Report" the abuse, the sexual predator is provided a safe haven to abuse additional innocent children.

Numerous recent child sexual abuse cases have exposed a weakness in the laws which are providing a safe haven for sexual predators of children.  Aarika's Law seeks to enhance the definition of "Failure to Report" and "Mandatory Report" regarding suspicion of child sexual abuse.

Child sexual abuse cases often times include multiple persons and/or institutions which "failed to report" reasonable suspicions of child sexual abuse.

The seriousness of these violations varies depending on the information and/or evidence that were not reported.

This proposed legislative act referred to as "Aarika's Law" will contain multiple levels of criminal prosecution for failure to report based upon the seriousness of the violation.

Statewide and national members of legislative branches of government need to engage discussions about enhancing and expanding mandatory reporting and failure to report laws.

"It's OUR Responsibility to Protect Our children, Yours, Mine, OURS"

Please support Aarika's Law and tell our legislator that "We the People" are calling for active legislative action to Protect OUR children.
