Fight to legalize hedgehogs in California!

  • recipient: We are petitioning the California government to legalize hedgehogs as pets.

Hedgehogs are lovely, adorable, and exotic animals to own and love as pets. Sadly, hedgehogs are illegal in several states, including California. The reason why hedgehogs are illegal in California is because of the possibility to carry diseases on their feet. They get these diseases by running through dirt and the feces they drop while running. People don't realize that other animals like dogs, cats, and other domestic animals, have the possibilities of carrying the same diseases hedgehogs can. Join the petition to legalize hedgehogs as domestic animals in California!
