Need for Handicap Accessible Entrances and Bathrooms in Public Establishments

Growing up with a father dealing with Multiple Sclerosis, I have noticed how many public locations deny their handicap customers. My father is in a motorized scooter and is unable to open doors on his own due to this chronic illness. When he goes into an establishment he relies on the handicap accessible button on the side of the door, and when he needs to use the restroom he relies on that same factor.

When these handicap accessible buttons are not available, it limits those who are affected with different types of disabilities. My father has been forced to leave several establishments due to his lack of being able to enter on his own. Every human has the right to enter any public establishment without feeling limited and denied. YOU can make this possible by signing this petition. Not only will you be contributing to making an amazing difference, you will BE that difference to so many individuals who deal with this struggle daily.
