West Bloomfield Schools are lagging behind other school districts in the surrounding areas when it comes to advanced classes and foreign language options, especially at the middle school level.
As a result, our kids are falling behind and our neighborhoods are not appreciating in value.
We urge the West Bloomfield Schools Administration to:
1. Develop advanced learning paths for Middle School.
2. Add full-year foreign language options beginning in 6th grade, with a minimum of Spanish, French, and Mandarin.
3. Form a middle school curriculum advisory panel that includes parents to ensure kids' educational needs are being met.
