Iver Heath Community Legacy Project (IHCLP)
at Gams’ Field Between Slough Road and Church Road, Iver Heath
In this petition we, the undersigned being residents of Iver Heath, urge The Iver Parish Council and its councillors to support and adopt pro-active measures to bring forward a Community Right to Build Order [CRTBO] and the formation of a Community Land Trust [CLT] to deliver this Project.
The project has been widely consulted upon within our community over the past 18 months and has been well received. We believe that the project represents a genuine, exciting and once in a lifetime opportunity to secure a use for this site that is both environmentally and financially sustainable. We also believe that the IHCLP will enrich the quality of life across all age groups and future generations in our community.
We further urge The Parish Council to join, or support and encourage, the landowners and other stakeholders [including the CVP CIC*] in their ongoing joint efforts to bring forward detailed development proposals for closer examination by residents and Parish and District Councils via a CRTBO which could also form an integral component of both the new Draft Local Plan and Iver’s Neighbourhood Plan.
