On the day of October 15th 2019, the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame announced it's nominees. Among these, was Motörhead. The only problem is, 2 CRUCIAL (and 5 other members Brian Robertson, Wurzel, Pete Gill, Lucas Fox & Larry Wallis) were snubbed.
In the past, other band's members were allowed to be inducted along with current or classic members, but this isn't the case this time. For whatever reason.
Not only is this a complete joke, it's a slap in the face to Phil and Mikkey who were in the band longer than anybody but Lemmy himself. They saved Motörhead from being an irrelevant forgotten band. Phil's guitar work CANNOT go unnoticed. Mikkey Dee's punishing wallop CANNOT go unnoticed.
We as fans of Rock N Roll need to do something to get them inducted. It's our duty to stand next to our Lord and saviour Lemmy and say "what the fuck?". I would bet good money Lemmy would NEVER stand for this. We shouldn't either.
