Marshfield Dog Park

Our dogs need exercise and a social life too! With restrictions at the beaches and new high school fields, off leash dog friendly areas are hard to come by.  Let's give our furry family members a place to play, run, and socialize year round!!

Just like people, dogs need a social life too. They are pack animals who crave play, exercise, affection, and structure. Building an off leash dog park in Marshfield will not only make your dog happier and healthy, if will make your life easier as well. Dogs who are well socialized  and exercised daily are less likely to develop behavioral issues  such as constant chewing, barking , aggression, or anxiety. In order to give our dogs the  opportunity to be a happy healthy part of our family we must focus on their needs as well. I am hoping to get enough signatures to present in an upcoming town hall meeting the importance of a dog park in Marshfield. The simplicity of the park is designed to create a safe space for our furry friends to have an area where they can just be dogs. I am hoping to find an area that we can fence in, seperating big dogs from the small dogs. Donated chairs/ tables would be a perfect gesture for the owners to sit and watch the dogs play.  I would love to be able to put some picnic tables and water fountains for the dogs to drink from in the enclosed area as well. Poop bags and trash barrels will be provided. Toy donations can be put in the park for the dogs to share. After living in San Diego and going to the dog park every day, I have been so grateful to see what a success it can be. The park creates a social aspect for humans and dogs and gives our furry compainion a place to go year round to let off some energy. Once I get enough signatures to present the plan to the board, details of the will be updated! Thank you for reading, now let's get to signing!
