Market Value on Apartment Rentals. In California LA & Orange County can ignore and turn a blind eye to growing epidemic of the massive rates we are being pushed out because we cannot afford the constant increase in Apartment rentals. Our income decreases while rent increases to the point where families make different choices and most to leave California because the cost of living is so high.. Now we all understand there can be ulterior motives behind the increase but basically we are all are on the losing side of the real estate game.. We need to hold a strike and boycott of paying rent and unify this until the market value adjusts all these rates. We have officially paid the highest in rent the past two years in the history of "renting" lets acknowledge that going backwards is still completely moral because right now its immoral. Basic families need about 5 solid years to save to buy a home that dream is diminished when your rent is a mortgage payment. Having the income of a monthly mortgage payment still does not guarantee you a home closed in escrow. We are asking for the federal trade commission to step in and attorneys to help protect and us and represent any person willing to boycott paying rent in full
