All over Cyprus are these "KENNELS" for the hunting dogs.
They are in back gardens, at the side of fields.
They are used to house dogs for the five and a half days of the week they are not out with their owners hunting.
Most are never cleaned once, never have clean food or water.
These are not homes for dogs.
They barely can be described as shelter!
No creature should be left to live in one of these!
The government should urge all councils to act. Find these pathetic structures, confiscate the dogs and tare them down, fining the owners for neglect and cruelty to animals and insist on better conditions before releasing the dogs back to them - after charging them for vet check-ups and board!
Please help to give these dogs a better home and a better life!
