SAVING DIESEL -THE SERVICE DOG- Stop Killing Dogs in Des Moines IA USA

  • by: Kurt Fahrney

FREE DIESEL IN IOWA LIKE THEY FREED PADI IN FLORIDA!!

DONT LET SGT JAMES BULTER KILL ANYMORE DOGS in Des Moines Iowa ...

Sgt. James Butler doesnt want the job of Chief Humane Oficer in Des Moines. He said in a recorded conversation he didn't ask to for this job. He claimed it was some political plot against him and that he "should be chief of police". (I can produce this recording) The truth is he was placed in this position after being on the Des Moines Police Dept. where he was suspended as disciplinary action for arresting a black man without probable cause and attempting to destroy the evidence of the recording of the arrest.

Sgt Butler in his first year as Chief Humane Oficer managed to increase the number of dangerous dog declarations by 500%! This is a FACT. He killed 16 dogs his first year earning him the title "Chief Dog Killer". He has been called by others that know him. His record also boasts of a "no contact order" involving a female which he was charged with violating. This Petition serves multiple purposes.                                   1. REMOVE SGT BUTLER from the position of Chief Humane Officer.                         2. FREE DIESEL - save his innocent life. He was provoked and is not a mean dog.     3. CHANGE DES MOINES CITY CODE - It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

PLEASE TAKE ACTION

Diesel is on DEATH ROW in Des Moines, Iowa for the same reason Padi was in Florida. Padi is now free. (see “free PADI” on FB)
I am very happy for Padi, his Guardian, and all his supporters. Any frustration or animosity in this petition is because my boy Diesel is suffering and has been locked up alone, scared, and sad since the end of September.

Following is a comparison of the 2 cases; Padi's and Diesel's

Same factors:
1. Both boys injured were 4 years old.
2. Both boys were injured above the shoulders.
3. Both dogs were provoked scared and reacted naturally.
4. Both cases- The law was not allowing “Provocation” as defense.
5. Both dogs would be killed if nothing was done.
6. Both dogs are loved by many.
7. Both dogs deserve to live.

Different factors:
1. Padi is a Lab, Diesel is an American Bulldog mix.
2. Padi has a guardian with A LOT more resources than Diesel.
3. Padi was allowed to go home while the legal battle was fought. Diesel’s in solitary confinement without being allowed to even go for a walk.
4. Padi is owned by a Veterinarian Doctor. Diesel is owned by me.
5. Diesel is my SERVICE DOG
6. Padi lives in Florida. Diesel in Iowa (DES MOINES)
7. Padi’s local government realizes provocation is important. DES MOINES ..not YET!
8. Padi’s local government corrected the illogic and stood for justice. DES MOINES has refused to and is more interested in a conviction than justice.                  (PLEASE KEEP READING)

9. Padi - a FLORIDA Judge ruled the dangerous dog law was UNCONSTITUTIONAL. We are still fighting for Diesel in IOWA.
10. Padi is free now. Diesel is still alone, depressed and isolated.
DES MOINES says he must to DIE!

Other factors:
Diesel is my Service Dog and was individually trained to perform a task that I cannot perform myself due to a disability. To be clear, I only want Diesel back with me!!  My CIVIL RIGHTS, according to The Americans with Disabilities Act revised 2010, were violated by Sgt Butler and another A.C.O…
Diesel is locked up in a 2’ x 4’ cell with where he must eat and go to the bathroom and is confined without human contact and NO ONE INCLUDING ME ARE ALLOWED TO EVEN VISIT HIM. (98 days Jan 4th) He is being treated inhumanely. The ARL is not a long term shelter facility. This IS WRONG!

PLEASE HELP CHANGE THE THINGS THAT CANNOT BE ACCEPTED

I owe my life to my dog Diesel. I will fight for his life as my own. Please show your support. Help me save Diesel. Sign Share Cross-post Donate Pray Send Energy
