Demand the Rezoning of Hueytown,where all Hueytown students attend a Hueytown School

For many years(too many)Hueytown Residents have been burdened by the school zoning.Some Hueytown children are zoned to attend Brighton schools yet live in walking distance from a Hueytown School.This is a huge burden for Parents which are tax paying citizens of Hueytown not Brighton.Brighton schools are rated among the lowest in academics. Many Hueytown home owners are unaware of this zoning until after purchasing their home.No child should be deprived of a descent education because of the crazy zoning guidelines.This is also causing many to sell homes and relocate from Hueytown so their child is offered a better education,can attend closest school and to avoid child attending a below average school.
