Demand the Australian Government Stops Funding Coal-Fired Power Plants

Aging coal-fired power stations across Australia need a retirement plan, according to a report in www.theguardian.com.

Moreover, the Federal Government must stop funding new coal-fired power plants.

A coal plant retirement plan will not only help to address climate change, pollution and human health issues, it will address the problem of thousands of workers who will lose their jobs from station closures in coming years.

The job loss issue is often used to protect the fossil fuel industry.

Will you join me in urging the Australian Government to stop funding new coal-fired power plants and implements a retirement plan for aging power plants. Please sign and share the petition.
