China: Pass Laws to Protect Non-Endangered Animals!

China has become infamous for senseless animal rights abuses. Wild animals are tortured and killed to make ineffective folk medicines or exotic culinary dishes, zoo animals are made to perform in dangerous, unnatural ways, and small pets are sold as novelty keychains in mall kiosks. Unfortunately, China has no laws to protect non-endangered animals, so people can continue exploiting them however they please, for whatever reason.

Recently, a dolphin died of excessive bleeding after tourists in China pulled it out of the water to pose for pictures. Dolphins famously have high IQs nearing those of humans, yet this senseless, selfish act of animal abuse went unpunished.

Something must be done to end this abuse. Please sign the petition to urge Chinese officials to create legislation to protect non-endangered animals.

As you know, China has become infamous for senseless animal rights abuses. We have heard horrifying news reports of wild animals tortured and killed to make ineffective folk medicines or exotic culinary dishes, zoo animals made to perform in dangerous, unnatural ways, and small pets sold as novelty keychains in mall kiosks. We are disappointed that China has no laws to protect non-endangered animals, allowing people to continue exploiting them however they please, for whatever reason.
