DEMAND JUSTICE FOR SUSHI: DOG IN MALAYSIA BEATEN AND TORTURED ON VIDEO!

A disturbing video recently surfaced on YouTube and anti-animal cruelty sites displaying horrific abuse against a small brown poodle who is repeatedly shaken, punched, kicked, strangled, slapped, thrown, and slammed against the wall by a thin Asian man with tattoos in order to make it stand for the camera. Allegedly, the video was posted online by someone who picked up a pen-drive in a shopping mall in Malaysia containing this clip inside: all of 15 minutes and 7 seconds of it:

In the video, an individual with tattoos on his arms tries to "train" a small brown toy poodle named "Sushi" to stand on its two hind legs for the camera. The individual is so obsessed with getting the dog to stand on its two hind legs in the proper "form" that he resorts to physical abuse and torture in order to accomplish his "goal" of making the little dog "stand." According to sources, the individual is heard repeatedly shouting at the frightened little dog in Cantonese, "Stand up!" "Look up!" "Stand up straight or I'll punch you!" and asks his girlfriend who is filming, "Why does his back-bone have no strength?" The girlfriend and owner of the pup is allegedly heard saying in Mandarin, "Dear, enough, 10 minutes already..." and "Dear, there is some blood at the mouth..."
During this sadistic ordeal, the poor pup is repeatedly punched, slapped, kicked, strangled, thrown, slammed against the wall, pulled at its legs, and mentally tortured. At one point, the man literally holds a food bowl to the dog's face then hits the dog over the head with it. The animal is witnessed becoming so weak from the abuse that after it is repeatedly punched, kicked, and thrown, it is unable to get up and falls off its "pedestal," unable to move.
From the video and stills taken from it, there are at least six people in attendance during this horror fest, including the camera person and the owner of the dog, whose voice is heard on the video. None of these individuals are seen or heard intervening on the dog's behalf during this deranged episode of blatant animal torture.
Outraged "netizens" managed to track down the couple's identity, car license plate number, and Facebook profile, and the SPCA in Malaysia and Singapore were alerted to the case, but to date, NOTHING has been done to convict and punish this dog beater and the criminals who passively sat by and allowed the torture to go on.

PETA ASIA has also become involved and has a petition site urging the Malaysian government to investigate and punish the abuser. Sushi is nowhere to be found, but witnesses have seen pictures of the beaten dog and a new dog standing in pictures on the couple's Face Book page.

We, the undersigned, demand that you immediately locate and arrest the abuser and owner of poodle "Sushi," who was sadistically and brutally tortured and beaten for the sake of "standing" on a podium whilst being filmed at a birthday party on video tape.
According to PETA ASIA PACIFIC and other internet sources, the whereabouts of Sushi's owner and the man who tortured the pup on video have been located, and are actively displaying pictures of the tortured dog as well a new dog on Facebook, yet you have done NOTHING to criminalize and prosecute these abusers. To date Sushi has not been found, likely because the dog died of injuries sustained during the horrendous beating it endured during the video taping. In the mean time, it appears another dog has been captured by these fiends and is likely being subjected to the same abuse.
It is your job, as per Malaysian law, to pursue this case and see to it that the abuser is punished to the maximum extent of the legal system. Malaysia has a reputation for being a nation loyal to animals and their welfare. We demand that you initiate immediate legal actions pursuant to the capture and arrest of the man who tortured and beat Sushi and hold those accountable, including the owner, who passively watched and refused to intervene.
We demand justice for Sushi the poodle and conviction of those who tortured her!
