My four children and I live in Nelson Avenue Family Residence, a family shelter in the Bronx, New York. The conditions here are awful. Trash piles up in the hallways. Mice run everywhere and we are getting bitten. Please sign our petition for better living conditions and reimbursement for medical fees we've incurred after getting sick and bitten by mice on the property.
My baby, age 5, was running from mice when she ran face-first into a wall and lost her teeth. My baby girl, age 6, was sitting on the toilet when the ceiling collapsed.
My children were bitten three times by mice and I was bitten once. All of us have seen doctors and gone to the emergency room. We were treated and released.
Please sign my petition to ask the building manager, the Department of Homeless Services commissioner, and Mayor Bill De Blasio to reimburse me for all the hospital and clinic fees and to address the mice, mold, and other issues that make this place unlivable. Please allow me to make a difference and a big change for people, and especially children of all color.

The children and I are in another shelter. Suffering. My baby got burnt by the heating system here. First thing they want to do is put us in another one like always. No repairs. Merry Christmas.

Well me and my children are in another shelter. Same like the other shelter. Mice and conditions. Im going to just stay stable for my children and keep them in school. Can't keep moving around any more. Thank you! For the signatures. "Spread Love".

I was put out of shelter with children. They log me out after calling to let them know my baby was sick and I wont be in. They used that and log me out with children. Their way of getting rid of me for exposing them.
It hurt dragging children around homeless and crying.
