There are children experiencing domestic violence every day. The solutions to the psycosocial problems which create this situation are complex. We have the resources to address this problem within the community. Linking these services with the Women and Children whilst they live in a safe and structured environment will provide better outcomes then trying to do it alone.
The state govenment is aware of the concern the people and we are ready to take action. Demonstrating the committment to changing the culture by providing options for women and children in the Fraser coast may provide long term change in the community.
