Save the Wild Texas Burros From Slaughter

At  Big Bend Ranch State Park, in Texas, the wild burros are in serious trouble. They are being slaughtered because the officials of the park believe that the population of burros is threatening the bighorn sheep of the area. Park officials would like to keep bighorn sheep in the area, because they carry high rewards for big game hunters.
There is no logical reason to slaughter these beautiful animals. This decision is being influenced by hunters who would like to continue hunting the sheep and gathering the high rewards that come with their deaths.
Please sign this petition and tell the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department that their reasoning is fatally flawed, and they need to stop senselessly killing the wild burros of Texas IMMEDIATELY.

Write to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department telling them their "population control" argument is unfounded and to stop needlessly killing wild burros immediately.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Executive Director Carter Smith,

I am extremely disappointed that the state of Texas has chosen money over the welfare of some of its resident wild animals.

I oppose the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's policy of killing wild burros at Big Bend Ranch State Park. The argument that it's done to restore the big horn sheep population has no logical reason.

Killing the burros is being senselessly caused by selfish thinking and financial benefits for hunters.

I am urging you to stop your cruel removal of the burros from their rightful home.
