Remove Thatcher's honours if she covered up sex abuse

It is alleged that former UK Prime Minister Margeret Thatcher authorised the cover-up of systematic sexual abuse and paedophilia by individuals within her government circles. IF an honest and transparent enquiry concludes this to be the case, in the name of all victims of childhood abuse, we demand that Margaret Thatcher and her heirs are stripped of all honours and entitlements, and that statues and images of her are removed from public places and all Government and Parliament buildings and precincts.
We elect these people to run the country and protect the weak and innocent from the powerful and evil. In this case we once again have a glimpse of the sordid hypocrisy at the heart of government where they speak of justice and truth while basically protecting their own interests and hiding their nasty secrets.
If she is implicated in a cover-up, removing Mrs (Baroness) Thatcher's honours and adding her name to the hall of shame, along with the likes of actual perpetrators such as Jimmy Savile (with whom she associated herself and entertained at Number 10 on several occasions,) will be but a small gesture of redress for the countless thousands of young people who have been groomed and abused by the "respectable establishment". Mrs Thatcher obviously thought that protecting her government and her own image was more important than protecting innocent young people from soul-destroying and life-damaging sexual abuse.
Dear Prime Minister,
It has been alleged that former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was involved in a cover-up of sexual abuse scandal involving one of her government ministers in the 1980s.
You have quite rightly and laudably launched an enquiry into organised paedophilia and sexual abuse of young people in various institutions including government. I sincerely hope that however scandalous the findings are, that they are brought to light and the truth is revealed to the British public.
This petition askes that if Mrs Thatcher is implicated in the cover up of but one particular sexual abuse case within her goverment, that her hereditary peerage and that of her heirs, and any other honours and titles bestowed on her through her public office, are posthumously removed. Furthermore, her statues, images and name should be removed from public places, the precinct of Parliament, and government and local government offices.
This is in the name of all victims of sexual abuse who have struggled across all ages to have their voice heard and to be believed. To have a Prime Minister connive in keeping their story from being told is a deep and shameful wrong.
