Animals Australia the voice for animals is to be commended for their tireless efforts at working toward saving animals' lives: Fighting against animal cruelty every day. Animals Australia reports on animal cruelty more often than our own TV Stations here in America. We, the undersigned, urge President Obama and Congress to please speak out against animal cruelty, make certain that the guilty parties involved get swift and just punishment, not a slap on the wrist, and above all else, the sweet, innocent, animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped. Also, we ask for background checks to be conducted on potential dog/cat owners including families with teenagers. In recent years, family and neighbors' dogs, have been brutally murdered by beheading, set fire to, and hung in trees or in somes cases, all of the above. Animals are such a big part of so many of our lives and our families. It is high time we start treating them with the respect and love they so deserve.
