Because children who are Molested and Raped DON'T TELL. They are Scared they may even be threatened bye some sort of violence or torture. Children are volnerable and EVERYONE with a child should be ASKING THEM IS ANYONE HURTING YOU? TOUCHING YOU? Children wont tell ..this happened to me with my father. NO ONE KNEW...or was it NO ONE WANTED TO SEE? I think when your abused and raped it takes along time to figure things out and to gain the strength to even confront or to do anything about it But when that time comes and you find the courage and strength to do the wright thing you should be able too.My father molested and raped me until i was 16 and i told my mother finally and she stayed with him and everyone brushed it under the rug .They pretened like it didnt happen. This killed me inside. Now im 43 and i moved back to my home town 7 years ago and saw some things i could NOT believe i was seeing. I confronted family and they all told me to mind my own business and he wouldnt do it to others it was just us. I couldnt believe what i was hearing. They all yelled at me and stopped talking to me for 6 years and guess what he NEVER STOPPED. DONT BE BLIND OR STUPID PEOPLE WHO SEXUALLY ABUSE USSUALLY CONTINUE..KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE DONT TAKE CHANCES INNOCENCE CANT BE REGAINED ONCE ITS TAKEN..YOUR NEVER THE SAME...TO MANY PEOPLE ARE IGNORING THE SIGNS..AND NOT ASKING...MOST OF THE TIME ITS THE ONES YOU TRUST THE MOST HURTING SOMEONE YOU LOVE..THE ONES IN YOUR CIRCLE IN YOUR FAMILY AT YOUR CHURCH A LEADER,A FRIEND,A NEIGHBOR AND SO ON BE AWARE LOOK ASK LISTEN. IF A CHILD REACHES OUT FOR HELP PLEASE HELP THEM DONT IGNORE IT.JUST TO SAY MY MOTHER FINALLY DID DIVORCE MY FATHER BUT ONLY BECAUSE ANOTHER VICTIM CAME FORWARD AND ITS BECAUSE I WOULDNT LET THIS MATTER GO.
