Deadly Loose Utility Trailer's, Horse Trailers, Boat Trailer Deaths Are Preventable

Highligts a real and present highway and state roads danger -- Loose Utility, Horse And Boat trailers smashing into School Buses (7) In 2016 when they collide. 

No matter what is cusing these crashes wether it's human error or our evidence suggests defective products most of these victimes would be alive today if we had a NATIONAL SAFETY STANDARD and a ban on homemade trailers.

U.S.,Canadian and Great Britten safety advocates are calling for an end to preventable loose utility trailer, horse and boat trailer  tragedies. Every year now over 400 men, women, children and over 1,000 horses  die every year when loose trailers slice into pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and passenger.

U.S. regulators have debated for decades about how to stop the tragedy of loose and flying defective trailers deaths -- including, since 1970 the possibility of requiring safety standards for hitches and trailers....read page 9 and 10:

But they have not done so, even though engineers have already found ways to solve this problem....Instead they find way to harass us in Henrico County VA to convince us to stop.

They even try to stop us from our investigative work to find "The Foggotten Dead"

It's time for NHTSA to mandate a nationwide safety benchmark nationwide for all trailers and hitch systems.

Therefore, in light of the tragic and unnecessary countless loss of lives which delays in loose utility, horse and boat trailers safety standards have already cost, as well as the continued tragic and preventable loss of life sure to occur if decisive action is not taken now, the signers of this petition:

1. Call on President Trump to immediately sign a Vision Zero Executive Order to authorize Vision Zero rulemaking policies which will impact all DOT safety regulations and save more lives;

2. Call on DOT to act immediately and apply Vision Zero rulemaking principles by crafting a utility trailer and hitch system final rule -- with crash test-based performance standards rather than "Voluntary Standards based design standards "The Industry AKA The Fox Is in charge of the Hen house"

3. Call on Congress to support a comprehensive and effective Utilty Trailer And Hitch system standard; and

4. Call on leaders in the trucking industry and Utility Trailer Industry  to act immediately and support efforts to address unsafe trailers and homemade ones and to stop trying to destroy our ligimiate safety concerns.

We can do this. Together, we can save lives. Someone is counting on us. . .why does a loose trailer have to impact you to act?
