HERE IS THE FULL UPDATE I RECEIVED TODAY, 12/30:
URGENT ACTION ENDS 12/31~~URGENT ACTION ENDS 12/31~~URGENT ACTION ENDS 12/31
Hello Everyone,
First of all, thank you for your assistance with the Possum Drop opposition in North Carolina. Yes, animal advocates from around the world were heard by those we e-mailed. Unfortunately, the NC judge ruled that the Possum Drop in Brasstown, NC could continue. Clay Logan plans on dropping the opossum tomorrow night.
However, I have learned through much internet research that the USDA has also issued a permit that can be revoked. I discovered that Dr. Elizabeth Goldentyer had signed this permit. Dr. Goldentyer will not respond to emails or phone calls.
Please e-mail her immediately at: Betty.J.Goldentyer@usda.gov
to revoke the captivity permit for Clay Logan.
I AM SORRY, YOU WILL NEED TO CUT/PASTE THIS.
THANX, FOR HELPING THE POSSUMS
Please note that I am sending this through five petitions that I have started at change.org. I do not have e-mail addresses. Therefore, I am sorry for any inconvenience if you receive more than one e-mail.
Go to RiseNC.org for more information. I will try to update with all information by the end of the week.
Thank you so very much.
Millie
