Reinstate POWER OF WIND 4-H Project as Colorado 4-H Natural Science Project
As of 2016, The Power of Wind 4-H project was removed from the natural science projects available to Colorado 4-H members. Signing this petition to requests that The Power of Wind 4-H project be again offered as a regular natural science 4-H project that would allow students to complete projects eligible to be entered, critiqued, and exhibited as Power of Wind projects at all Colorado County Fairs and the Colorado State Fair.
The Power of the Wind project teaches youth to design, create, build, and test wind powered devices and explore wind as a potential energy source in a community.
The project has a full curriculum developed by experts in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. (S.T.E.A.M) http://4-h.org/parents/curriculum/wind-energy/
