Help save the polar bears! The delicate state of polar bears has been identified on a national and global level. As global warming increases and we do almost nothing to stop it, polar bears's habitats are slowly diminishing causing great casualties. Even though the number of polar bears and their available habitats are depleting, the US government still supports the importation of polar bear heads and hides killed in Canada by US hunters. This was due to a loophole in the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Help fix this loophole and protect the polar bears! These magnificent creatures are slowly starting to disappear and we are the cause! We the undersigned wish for the US government to fix the loophole in the Marine Mammal Protection Act created in 1972  that allows US hunters to import polar bear heads and hides from Canada. As polar bears are already nationally and globally recognized as being in a very delicate state due to poachers and global warming this must be fixed to protect the polar bears from extinction.
