Every year hundreds of animals, some threatened, are killed by US law enforcement groups. The reason is animal attacks. The policy of many US agencies when an animal attack occurs is simply kill as many of that animal after the attack. A clear example of this policy is when a cougar attack occurs in California the police are mobilized to kill any cougar within certain limits of the area. This policy is sloppy and brutal, killing animals not responsible for the attack and having a detrimental effect on the local wildlife population. But cougars are not the only ones affected by the law. All animals including bears, wolves, coyotes, deer, and many others are affected by this policy. Please help correct the system and protect animals from a vendetta killing policy.

We the undersigned urge you to stop the unnecessary "kill after attack" policy of many law enforcement agencies. The irrationality of law enforcement just never ceases to amaze me. Humans are intruders in animal habitats, of course they get attacked and the law decides to start a wild animal-hunt. Staying out of the animal territories would make much more sense, especially if you are not experiences with wild animals, why would a person be taking a leisurely walk in animal territory in the first place, it makes no sense. Leave animals alone, stay away from their land…they get killed because of ignorant humans. Stay away from the little bit of land they still have, you have taken almost everything away from animals and continue to abuse, torture and murder them while you should STAY AWAY what is it you don’t understand. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN LIVES AND HUMAN-ANIMALS ARE NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN ALL THAT LIVES!
