New State Flag of Mississippi

The state legislation of Mississippi is debating over the change of their current state flag, which still bears the Confederate symbol of rebellion and racism.
My suggestion for a new state flag is composed with new colors and symbols:
(1) The light-blue square symbolizes the Mississippi River that flows in serenity within mother nature.
(2) The Magnolia flower, which belongs to the State Tree of Mississippi, symbolizes the divine force of love.
(3) The colored stars represent the beauty of equality for all races, creeds, genders and orientations, while the white star represents guidance.

I've never organized a petition before, so this is a good start. :)

I pray for all Americans to open their hearts and push for great change in the name of humanity, especially for the sake of those who choose to live free from all influence of hatred and discriminations.
