Help make "National" Hug Day an actual national holiday!

"Hugs are loving. Hugs are therapeutic. Hugs are caring. Hugs are celebratory.  Hugs make you feel good inside. Have you ever received a hug from someone who didn't care? I didn't think so. That's proof positive that you're loved and cared about." -HolidayInsights

People of the internet, hugs, are generally a good thing. They have health benifits (physical and phychological), they make you feel all warm inside, and they can be there for when you're at your highest (your favorite team scored a touchdown), and your lowest (a loved one is taken from you).
And the best thing is anyone can do them. Parents, strangers, friends, couples, brothers, sisters, anyone. It's never weird unless you make it so. It's always a good thing.

National Hug day is January 21st of every year. It was created in 1986 by Kevin Zaborney. Thing is, it never actually made it as a national holiday.
"He chose January 21 as it fell between the Christmas and New Year's Holidays and Valentine's Day, when he thought people are generally in low spirits." -Wikipedia

Please help make National Hug Day an actual national holiday. Who knows, one day you're feeling down in the dumps and all of a sudden you're hugged by your mom, dad, boyfriend, girlfriend, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, your best friend, a complete stranger, who knows, it might just make your day.
